Door Direction

Depending on the pivoting direction of a door, a distinction is made between left hand and right hand doors. The door direction or side designation is determined as follows according to DIN 107:

• Visible position of the door hinges on the left = DIN left
• Visible position of the door hinges on the right = DIN right
• Some usable designations can also be derived from the access direction.
